All you need to do is head to the services tab in store settings and switch Cobblers Direct on. The Cobblers Direct team will contact you to provide your onboarding kit, marketing collateral and instructions. Once you're up and running, customers simply walk in with their items for repair, you enter a repair order for them directly into CleanCloud, and then take their items at the counter.
Use the pre-paid shipping labels to mail items to Cobblers Direct, who will handle all customer questions and repair-related communications. Once repairs are completed, Cobblers Direct will ship the items back to your location, and your customer will receive an email alert that their order is ready for pick-up. It’s that simple!

None! You can simply take the item and key into CleanCloud an approximation of what the customer would like fixed. Cobblers Direct will contact all customers and discuss in detail exactly what repairs are possible and the cost.
When the repair is ready Cobblers Direct will ship back the item to your store and you notify the customer to come in and pick up the item.
How much money can I make from becoming a drop location?
You’ll keep up to 20% of each repair sale, but your total earnings will vary based on your volume of business.
How long does it take to set-up?
Once you've been verified by Cobblers Direct it takes no time at all. Simply turn on Cobblers Direct in your CleanCloud account.
How do I ship items to Cobblers Direct?
When you enable the service you’ll receive a welcome pack with 30 returns labels to get you started.
How often should I be shipping the repair items to Cobblers Direct?
Once or twice a week, depending on the volume of your business.
How does payment work?
Cobblers Direct will send you a monthly invoice for repair work - remember you’ll keep up to 20% of the sales. Payment terms are 30 days, failure to comply with those terms will result in termination of the service.
How long does it take for the repairs to be completed?
This varies depending on the nature of the repair. A Cobblers Direct representative will keep the customer updated.
What happens if the customer does not come in to pick up the items? Do I still need to pay the invoice?
Yes. It is very important that you have the current phone number and email for all your Cobblers Direct customers to minimise this risk. However, any items that are not picked up after 90 days, can be returned to Cobblers Direct and will be credited and removed from the invoice.
