Invoicing Tool Improvements

We have added a number of new features to improve our new invoicing tool;

  • When creating monthly repeating invoices you can now select multiple customers and business accounts from the autocomplete menu making it quicker and easier to create multiple repeating monthly invoices for different customers.
  • You now have the option to have orders displayed in invoices broken down by order ID and product, showing a breakdown of how each product contributes to the order with price and quantity.
  • The ability have invoices broken down by product rather than orders has now been added to the new invoicing tool. This shows each product as a line item with quantity.

Improvements for Users

Our User profiles have a had a great new update that make them even more convenient:

  • 2 new User permissions have been added that allow owners to further customise profiles for their staff. You can now edit whether or not a profile can run payroll for staff members and also whether or not the profile can process refunds.
  • Staff members can now access their /me profile from any IP address with a more secure and password-protected login.

Ease-of-use updates: June

Two more updates have launched on CleanCloud this week:

  • When an email address is available for a customer, you now have the option to always send an email to that customer alongside any push notifications they are due to receive.
  • You can now have CleanCloud auto-highlight the quick-drop field after selecting a customer. This makes completing quick-drop orders much faster, as you only need to select the customer and type the quick-drop number.

New Plant Stat features now available

Users of our Plant mode will be glad to hear that 2 new features have come to our Plant Stats:

  • Clicking on the 'To Be Cleaned' number will reveal a list of the particular garments associated
  • You can now view a list of overdue orders

Ukrainian Language Support

CleanCloud has been updated to support businesses within Ukraine. You can now choose to have the language in your software display in Ukrainian.

Machines Page Upgrade

A whole host of new upgrades have come to the machines page:

  • By clicking on an order card in the machines page, more info is now revealed about the order
  • You can now activate an ironing column if this step is part of your cleaning process
  • Wash and Dryer temperatures are now shown on the order card for quick referencing

Handy retail update

In a handy update for customers running retail sales, the CleanCloud POS no longer requires a customer profile to be attached to an order if the product being purchased is from a section marked as a 'Retail' section.

Introducing Tasks

Tasks is a brand new feature that helps you and your staff keep track of their workloads. With tasks you can:

  • Create single or repeating tasks for staff members to complete
  • Monitor the completion rate of these tasks over the previous 48 hours
  • Assign tasks to either a User or a Station, so that tasks are always assigned to the most relevant staff member

Heat Seal upgrade for multi-store businesses

Great new upgrade to make using Heat Seal barcodes just that little bit easier. For customers with multiple stores, you are now able to share your Heat Seal barcode database across the different locations that you already have linked product and customer databases for.

Upgrades to Notifications

2 upgrades have just released for our notifications feature:

  • Once an order has been created, any outgoing automatic Push or SMS notifications will now adjust based on whether there are weight-based or regular products in the order.
  • You now have the option of being notified when an order has been edited, just navigate to Settings > Admin > Notifications to toggle on or off these 2 new notifications.

Improved Ready By dates

2 new updates for default ready by dates for in store orders

  • Ready By date can now be set to a different default after a certain time of day. For example you can decide to have your default turnaround be an extra day after 10am. To decide this time, simply navigate to Settings > Admin > New Order Page > Default Order Ready By if Time is After


  • Adding extra days to a particular product will now skip excluded days. For example, if your default ready by date is 2 days excluding Sunday and a product within an order is marked as taking 1 extra day, the total 3 day turnaround will exclude Sunday.

Integrating NextDoor with Marketing Pro

Calling all Marketing Pro customers!

Our reviews system now integrates with NextDoor. Now when your customers are automatically prompted to leave a review, you can have them directed to your Nextdoor page, as well as Yelp, Google Maps and Facebook.

Plant mode 2.0

Users of our plant mode will be excited to hear that we have recently made our 2.0 version available for use. To transition to this new mode, simply navigate to Settings > Admin > Plant mode and change the Plant Version to V2.

This new version comes with a whole host of improvements, especially for those who process a very high amount of orders and are heavily reliant on barcode scanning.

Customer App update

Within the customer app, extra delivery fees can now be applied for delivery slots if the requested slot would mean the order turn around time falls under a certain amount of days. This effectively gives customers the option of selecting an 'Express' service at a higher cost.

By popular demand, one new feature now available in our IOS and Android Apps is the ability for customers to skip certain dates when scheduling repeat pickup orders.

  • Customers are now able to use Checkout.com cards for charges through the Customer App and Web App
  • Checkout.com cards are now available to be used with our auto-charge saved card when cleaned feature

Updates to barcode tags: Epson U220 printer

2 updates have come down the pipeline for users of the Epson U220 printer:

  • The Epson U220 barcode tag is now able to be printed from Plant mode, just navigate to Admin > Plant > Tag Printer Manufacturer > Epson U220 Barcode Tags.
  • Item notes are now available to be printed on Epson U220 tags, just navigate to Printers > Heat Seals > Print Item Notes on Tag. The image attached to this update gives a great idea of how these will look on the finished product.
